Paralex Beta Terms
Version: 2026-10-13 Effective: 2026-10-13
1. Parties
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Paralex. Paralex is currently operated by Tianyu Zhang as an individual, c/o Adressgeber #2247, An der Alten Ziegelei 38, 48157 Münster, Germany, beta@paralex.net. Once a company is set up, it will take over these terms. We will notify you before it does.
2. What the beta is
- Paralex is an AI-assisted quantitative research tool. The beta is by invitation only.
- The beta is free. Its purpose is to let you try Paralex and give us feedback.
- The beta is incomplete. Features may change, be interrupted or fail. We back up data daily but do not guarantee against data loss. Please download important code yourself.
3. Accounts
- Invitation codes are personal. Do not transfer or publish them.
- Keep your sign-in credentials safe. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Members you invite to your team must also follow these terms.
4. What the trial includes and when it ends
- The trial is free and includes:
- one trial node for 14 days, counted from when it is first ready;
- 1,000 credits, valid until used up. They do not expire when the node does.
- We may extend the trial node for individual users.
- We email you a reminder 3 days and 1 day before the node expires.
- When the node expires, paid features are paused:
- the trial node is reclaimed, so backtests can no longer run;
- you can still view your research content, download code and export trade records;
- what remaining credits can be used for after the node expires is described in the product.
- If you have not moved to a paid plan, research content is kept for 90 days after the node expires, then deleted; we remind you before deletion. For the account itself, see the privacy policy.
- Continued use will require payment. We will tell you when payment opens, and you decide whether to continue. We collect no payment details during the beta and never charge you automatically.
5. Resources provided by the platform
- During the beta, the platform provides trial nodes and the AI model service free of charge. To keep things fair and costs under control, both have usage limits, such as token limits per autonomous run and per team. When a limit is reached, the run pauses and you are told why.
- During the trial, some premium models are not available; the product shows which models you can use.
- We may adjust these limits or change model providers.
- The model provider is a third party, and its service may be interrupted. If it is unavailable, the Agent pauses; other features keep working.
6. Your content
- You own the topics, code, parameters, reports and other research content you create.
- You permit us to store, process and display that content to provide the service. When you use the Agent, you also permit us to send relevant content to the model provider (privacy policy, section 5).
- We do not train models on your research content, sell it or publish it.
- Our admin console cannot see your research content, except support requests you send us.
7. AI-generated output
- Output from the Agent, AI explanations and model labels may be wrong or incomplete, or may refer to things that do not exist. The interface marks it as AI-generated.
- You decide whether to use it, and you are responsible for checking it.
8. No investment advice
- Paralex is a research tool. It does not provide investment advice, trading signals or asset management. No live trading is connected during the beta.
- Backtest and simulated results are calculated on historical data under assumptions. They do not indicate future performance and guarantee no return.
- Your investment decisions are your own, and so are their consequences.
9. Trial data
- Market data preloaded in the beta is for trial and testing only. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete or timely.
- You may not export, resell or redistribute it, or use it to make real trading decisions.
10. What you may not do
- Try to escape the code sandbox or tenant isolation, access other users' data, or attack or scan the platform or third-party systems.
- Use trial nodes or platform resources to mine, send spam, or run heavy computation unrelated to quantitative research.
- Register accounts in bulk, or resell or share account access.
- Upload unlawful content, content that infringes others' rights, or other people's personal data without a legal basis.
- Use the Agent to generate content that breaks the model provider's usage policies.
- Use Paralex in breach of the laws that apply to you.
11. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend your account or team if you breach these terms, or to protect the platform and other users. Where it is not urgent, we notify you first.
- You may stop at any time, delete your team, or ask us to delete your account.
- We may end the beta with 14 days' notice and time to export your data. Emergencies are an exception, for example a security incident or a provider shutting down its service.
12. Liability
- The beta is free. We are liable only for intent and gross negligence.
- This does not limit liability for injury to life, body or health, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
- We are not liable for losses from your investment decisions (section 8).
13. Feedback
We may freely use feedback and suggestions you give us to improve Paralex, without payment.
14. Changes
- We will email you at least 14 days before changes to these terms take effect.
- If you do not agree, you may stop using Paralex before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept them.
15. Governing law
- These terms are governed by the law of Germany.
- If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence still apply.
